Laax & End of season

Hey everyone

As I told you in my last entry I went to Laax for the pleasure Spring session.
The shape crew built up a damn good park, for sure one of the best ones I´ve ever been at.
I had a good time there, even though the weather was very bad except of one day... Thats also the reason I didn´t get to shoot or film a lot there, but we went snowboarding every day though..

After the spring session I went back to my life as a student except of a few days in Hintertux but I haven´t been snowboarding a lot since then..
Its already may now and that means that my snowboarding season is pretty much done.
It was a super sick season again without any serious injuries, thats what is most important i guess ;)

And as I wrote earlier on my blog, I filmed a little clip with the Sparkassen Bank and here it is, pretty damn funny haha

Shooting

So I after my surgery I started snowboarding again a few weeks ago.

I was kind of bummed because I couldn´t compete at the Wangl Tangl in Mayrhofen, which is a really cool competition with a great setup.
Anyways, I went to the sane!-Jibpark in Rinn and took part at the Sanesession there which was a lot of fun and I won some money there aswell hehe ;)

The week after this I went to Schladming for the Finals of the BigAir-Europe Cup aka "The Housemasters"
It was really funny there and i got 4th place in the end. The best part was that there was a Concert by German Rapper Sido afterwards haha ;)

The next day I went straight from Schladming to Kühtai to do a little Backcounty shooting there. I didn´t see any pictures from the actual photographer yet and I don´t know if I ever will haha...

 So and today I had another photoshoot on my homemountain in Innsbruck and it was awesome! The shapecrew built a huge corner-jump just for our shooting and everybody killed it! Can´t wait to see the pictures

Contests & Hospital

Hey guys

I spent the last couple weeks by riding a lot of contests but I also had a couple of shootings.

First I went training in Mayrhofen, if you didn´t see it yet, check out the little edit i made:

After that, I did a photoshooting in Küthai and I also filmed a Videoclip for the Sparkassen Bank there, I am gonna show it to you as soon as I have seen it myself.

After that, I did the World Rookie Fest in Monte Bondone, Italy which didn´t go to good. Whatever.. The week after I went to Kitzbühel for the Sick Trick Tour open which I won in the Rookie Category, I got 4th overall so I was kind of bummed about that....

The next week I took a break from snowboarding to recover form all the little injuries that I got during the season, nothing serious but annoying though.

Last weekend I went to Damüls for the Austrian Rookie Challenge.
It was the first time that I went there and it was such a sick weekend. We had so much fun and everyone killed it there.
We had a Parksession and a Nightsession on Saturday and then hit a streetrail on Sunday.

I am super stoked that I won the BEST KICKER RIDER AWARD!
I got the sickest prices ever: 300€ in 1€ coins and one week in Laax for the pleasure Spring session.

Unfortunately my belly started to hurt pretty bad after the contest so I went to the doctor and he said that theres something wrong with my appendix.

I had surgery yesterday and they took it out. Now I am still in hospital waiting to be allowed to eat something ;)

But I am gonna be back on board in a few weeks. ;)

Olympics Recap

So hello there again!


The Olympics are over and even though I didn´t do well at all in the competitions, it was an amazing experience to be there and I had a great time there.

The Halfpipe and the Slopestyle were super good and fun to ride. I did good on the training days but i bailed on all my contest runs.. It was pretty disappointing but whatever.. its only the olympics haha ;)

When I was not snowboarding, I spent most of my time chilling in the city with my dutch friends or watched other competitions. We went to McDonalds almost every day to eat some healthy food so we can do good in the contests. I don´t know why it didn´t work out... ;)

 The next couple of weeks I have to go to school, which kind of sucks but I am also gonna do some more competitions and hopefully do better there than in the olympics ;)

Youth Olympics

Hello there!

I made into the Austrian Youth Olympic Team! Stoked about that!
It was not an easy qualification because everyone gave their best, but my friend Roland and me both qualified for the Slopestyle & Halfpipe Event :)

Through that I got a few Interviews and appeared in Austrian TV. Thats all pretty new to me but I like it :)

I also did a Photoshooting for the YOG like 2 months ago and found the pictures spread all around in Innsbruck. I even made it on to the papers they put on the tablets in McDonalds, haha (managed to get a free Cheeseburger due to that)

It was snowing like crazy here during the last couple weeks so I had some sick powder days! Some resorts even had to close because of all the snow :)

I rode into a canyon and had to hike all the way back up.. not fun at all when you´re snowed in up to your chest

Now I just came back home from the YOG Kick Off Event for the Austrian Team. We got tons of stuff there and I don´t even know where I should put it. Can´t hurt to get free stuff though ;)

Tomorrow I´m moving into the Olympic Village. Doesn´t make much sense but it should be fun..

Thats whats up

So, after not posting anything since I created this, here are some updates..

 From 11th to 13th November, the TTR 4* Horsefeathers Pleasurejam went down. The jumps looked super nice, even though they were much smaller than I expected them to be..

I kind of fucked up every trick in training, but I was able to stomp my contest run..
Unluckily, it wasn´t good enough, so I didn´t qualify for the finals..

The week after, I celebrated my 16th birthday, and I was drinking beer for the very first time in my life, haha!


Then I just trained for the next weeks, and last weekend, I was at Kitzsteinhorn, for some random FIS Competition, because I needed to get FIS points to qualify for the Youth Olympic Games.

Unfortunately I hurt my shoulder while training on friday, but I was able to ride the competitions on saturday and sunday without a lot of pain.

The Halfpipe contest was on Saturday, and the weather was really terrible! I did my two contest runs, but they kind of sucked, so I only got 14th place.

The day after, the slopestyle competition went down and the weather was even worse than the day before.
I got third in the qualification, and went on to the final, in which hardly anyone was able to stick a run, because it was hard to see anything,
But I was able to bring down a run which was enough to get me on second place! 

I was pretty stoked on that, even though I only won a hoodie.. ;)


On sunday the decision about who is going to the Youth Olympic Games for austria, will be made, so fingers crossed!
